Continuing Education Study Clubs
The doctors of CharlottePerio are committed to being a learning and developmental resource for the Charlotte dental community. We value education and desire to play a role in advancing the dental and periodontal fields.
Founded in 2008, the Charlotte Dental Hygiene Study Club is committed to providing dental hygienists with the resources to further their education and enhance their ability to deliver excellent patient care. We strive to provide an educational forum where dental hygienists can interact socially in a relaxed and collaborative atmosphere. Our goal is to share a common foundation of didactic knowledge, clinical skills, and leadership. The areas of focus for study club presentations include periodontal and dental implant therapy, patient management, and current research in the field of Periodontology.
The Charlotte Dental Hygiene Study Club meets four times each year. Each seminar provides 1.5 hours of continuing education credits, thus offering members the full complement of CE hours required annually by the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners.
